Watkins began her career in the entertainment industry as an executive assistant, supporting top actors, studio executives, and creatives for over a decade. During this time, she also produced theater in Los Angeles, honing her skills in production and storytelling. ?

In 2020, Watkins co-founded GOODWEIRD Studios with partner and filmmaker Matthew Berkowitz. As a partner and executive producer, she has been instrumental in producing award-winning feature films and documentaries. Notable projects include “The Madness Inside Me” (2020), where she served as a producer, and “A Look Through His Lens” (2024), a documentary on Oscar-winning cinematographer Philippe Rousselot, where she was one of the producers.
